Caring for a loved one or an aging parent can be a stressful time. Derek Bullard, Founder of Already HomeCare, learned this first hand while helping care for his grandmother and later witnessing the difficulties his mother had with finding caring, capable home care services for his step-father. As the primary caretaker for her husband, Derek’s mom endured numerous setbacks, cancellations and changes in home care providers, which in turn created a great deal of stress and anxiety for the entire family. His family needed professional caregivers and caretakers.
Derek decided to utilize his breadth of experience in healthcare and building successful companies by founding Already HomeCare. Prior to founding Already HomeCare, Derek was the founder and CEO of one of the largest behavioral health and in home providers in North Carolina. Under Derek’s leadership, his company achieved national accreditation and twice made the Inc. Magazine/ Inc. 5000 list as one of the countries fastest growing private companies. Derek has an undergraduate degree in human services and a Gerontology Certificate from the University of Texas at Arlington. Derek is also a certified trainer of the dementia capable care model through CPI. Derek is married to LaVondria Bullard and they are the proud parents of three wonderful children, twins Jackson and Taylor and their eldest son Nick.
