  • What kind of in home care services do you provide?

  • Are your in home caregivers insured?

    Absolutely. To ensure the safety and well-being of our clients, we perform criminal background clearances and then cover each caregiver with general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. We manage all of the risk so you and your loved one can continue to enjoy a wonderful quality of life…independently!

  • Will I have a choice of who comes to my home?

    Yes. We strive to match the right caregiver with the right client every time. If at any time you would like to change your caregiver or select one based on a personal preference, you will be able to do so.

  • Can I change or discontinue the services my loved one receives?

    With Already HomeCare, there is no long term commitment with any of our services. You can also change the type of service we provide whenever you need to. We understand the care situation can change quickly, so we provide full flexibility in how you use our professional in-home care services.

  • How can I verify a shift has been completed?

    Through the Already HomeCare FamilyCARES Portal, you will be able to see whenever a caregiver arrives, leaves or provides any service to your loved one. Our goal is to keep you up-to-date on the care your loved one receives, no matter where you live or how busy you are. You will also be able to read notes and details about the care that is being provided to your loved one, as well as seeing a photo and quick description of the caregiver that is caring for your loved one.

  • Do I need a physician's authorization for your services?

    In most instances no. You do not need pre-authorization, pre-qualification or anything else to use the services of Already HomeCare. You choose the services you want, when to start those services and how often those services are needed. If you need help identifying what services your loved one needs, we provide a free in-home safety assessment and an in-home care assessment before we begin our service to identify the proper care needed.  For clients who are referred by Medicaid, The Department of Veterans Affairs or The South Carolina Community Long Term Care Program (CLTC), pre-authorization may be required.  Contact us directly for details.

  • How is privacy of my personal information maintained?

    We adhere to all applicable federal and state guidance related to privacy of personal and healthcare information. This begins once we have a formal services agreement, before a caregiver even comes to your family member’s home.  Your information is never sold to a third party under any circumstance. In fact, only the office personnel and caregivers who are directly involved with your loved one and their services will have access to the information.
